This photo was taken (by me) in July of 1983. At that time Lake Mead was at it’s highest level ever. Note the spillway gates are up and the lake level was at 1,220 feet. The lake is now at 1,090 feet and has risen about 13 feet from the recent winter storms in the Rockies. Interesting perspective.
